Established in 2003, Al Rahba Hospital is a 166-bed advanced secondary care facility. In 2006, Al Rahba became the first public hospital in the UAE to be accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI).
In 2020, and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Al Rahba Hospital became a communicable disease and isolation hospital for Abu Dhabi.
